Membership & Billing
The Infinite List is a membership community that requires a subscription to participate. There is currently only one level of membership, hereinafter referred to as "membership", though you may also choose to be an affiliate partner.
Initiation (or "Onboarding") is required of all new members and requires a $250 investment. Access to all training modules, templates, guides, and monthly group calls, are included with the onboarding investment. In addition, 25 ILM Tokens are granted upon payment and setup.
Membership is billed at $100 per month, and two ILM Tokens are granted for each month of paid membership.
Billing occurs on the first of each month, and members may cancel at any time, though refunds will not be given. Any cancellation notification received after charges have been processed, will take effect at the end of the billing cycle. Please notify us in advance of billing, should you wish to cancel.
Any ILM Tokens in account at the time of cancellation will become frozen. Member must be current in order to utilize any ILM Tokens in their possession.
Once canceled, former members may rejoin at any time. If rejoining within 12 months of cancellation, there will be a $125 reinstatement fee. Rejoining more than 12 months after cancellation will require a $250 reinstatement fee. Any ILM Tokens in account at time of cancellation will be restored.
ILM Tokens
The Infinite List uses ILM Tokens as a method of exchange inside the membership community. ILM Tokens, or simply Tokens, have a value of $50 each. To use the tokens, Member must be in good standing and current in payments.
Tokens may be earned, bought, sold, exchanged, or even retracted. Methods of such activities are described below.
EARNING TOKENS:
Tokens are awarded upon onboarding (25 Tokens) and for each month of paid membership (2 Tokens).
Additional tokens may be earned by doing any of the following:
- Attending monthly group calls (1 Token - must be present for at least 15 minutes with camera on)
- Placing on Leaderboards
- 8 Tokens for 1st Place
- 4 Tokens for 2nd Place
- 2 Tokens for 3rd Place
- Send more than 100 opt-ins in a single giveaway (2 Tokens)
- Completing the training modules (1 token per completed module)
- Others reward opportunities will be presented from time to time.
SPENDING TOKENS:
Participation in certain activities within the community require Tokens. The following is a general outline of how you may spend your Tokens:
- Basic spot in a Giveaway (4 Tokens)
- Featured spot in a Giveaway (8 Tokens)
- Host your own Giveaway (8 Tokens)
- REACH Live VIP Ticket (8 Tokens)
- Other spending opportunities will be announced from time to time.
BUY/SELL TOKENS:
Should you find that you need more Tokens to participate in something, you may purchase Tokens for $50 each HERE (minimum quantity = 2).
You may also buy, sell, or trade ILM Tokens with other Infinite List members. Both members must be in good standing with current accounts.
Proof of transaction must be provided to Infinite List by both parties. There is a 10% Token transfer fee payable to Infinite List that may be paid by either party. The minimum fee is $20 and the maximum is $50.
RETRACTION OF TOKENS:
In order to maintain a healthy community of committed members there are "Rules of Engagement" (see below) to which all must adhere. At The Infinite List we prefer to encourage members to participate through our reward system; however, we are also aware that this will not work for everyone. Therefore, when certain rules are ignored or broken, a member may be penalized by the retraction of Tokens.
The following represent the Token penalties currently enforced:
- Failure to email as per giveaway requirements
- 4 Tokens deducted for each email shy of total requirement (up to 12 points)
- Multiple infractions may result in membership being cancelled
- Failure to acquire new contributors when hosting a giveaway
- Hosts are required to bring in four (4) new contributors for each giveaway
- Four (4) Tokens will be deducted for each person shy of that requirement (up to 16 points)
- Multiple infractions may result in hosting opportunities being revoked.
Rules of Engagement
The Infinite List is a membership community that is only as strong as it's weakest participants. As such, the ILM Management Team will constantly strive to strengthen all of our members while also removing any member that is not contributing to the whole.
The following "Rules of Engagement" are designed to support participation and to establish the expectations of our members in order to maintain a healthy community for all.
MAILING:
Each giveaway will have its own particular requirements, and it is the responsibility of the contributing members to be familiar with and adhere to those requirements.
Most giveaways will be asking that each contributor email their list at least three (3) times during the run of the giveaway. Failure to honor the email requirements will be obvious. Infinite List monitors the email activity of our members and tracks the opt-ins for each event. Failure to get at least 10 opt-ins is a sign that emails are not being sent.
We understand that sometimes things happen - perhaps you forgot to queue up the email, or your VA made a mistake. Our Team will support your efforts with email reminders and occasionally even a phone call to let you know that your opt-ins are insufficient; however, it is up to each contributor to stay on top of your commitment. We trust that each Member is highly capable and responsible.
At the same time, though, The Infinite List has a zero-tolerance policy for freeloaders. The first offense of not emailing will result in retraction of Tokens. The second offense will result in being restricted from participation as a contributor. A third offense will result in being banned from the community. No refunds will be given and your existing Tokens will become forfeit.
HOSTING:
Having run hundreds of giveaways, we understand that getting people to participate as a contributor can sometimes be difficult. Helping you to fill your giveaways is one of the benefits of the Infinite List Membership.
We also understand that without the continuous growth of our community, the giveaways run the risk of becoming stale and repetitive.
In order to overcome this challenge, the ILM Team will continually seek out new partners and new contributors AND we expect our hosts to support in this effort.
It is the host's responsibility to bring in four (4) NEW contributors for each giveaway. Not only will this help grow the community - it will also help our hosts to increase their revenue stream with the generous commission structure of ILM.
We will support our hosts' efforts by supplying invitation copy and providing ideas for where to find people; however, failure to acquire the new participants will result in the retraction of Tokens. If a host continues to run giveaways without bringing in new contributors, their right to host may be restricted.
INTERACTION:
We encourage ALL Infinite List Members to join us on our monthly group calls. It is a great opportunity to get to know your fellow members, find out about what new giveaways are being added to the calendar, and get the latest insights on what is working and what is not.
We also encourage our Members to seek out partners for other activities than our giveaways. This may include finding guests for your summit or podcast, finding JV partners for your next product launch, or even hiring someone as your coach or mentor.
However...
There are a few types of engagement that we do NOT allow. They are as follows:
- Do NOT add someone to your CRM or other bulk email list without their permission.
- Do NOT post affiliate links of any sort inside our community forum or in our Facebook group.
- Do NOT attempt to sell your own products, programs, or services to any other member without their request that you do so.
We also ask that your communications within the community adhere to these guidelines:
- Be courteous and kind in your interactions with other members (i.e. if someone is in your giveaway and they fail to promote - you play "good cop" and leave the role of "bad cop" to us).
- Be supportive in your comments and posts.
- You have two ears and one mouth - please use them proportionally when engaging with others.
- Be honest in your communications regarding your activities in the group. This would include the honest reporting of your email list size, open rates, etc., as well as your date(s) of mailing, number of opt-ins acquired, and other details that may come up.
RESTRICTIONS:
In order for The Infinite List community to function at its best, we must all agree to follow these Rules of Engagement. Failure to do so may result in revocation of membership.
The Infinite List Management Team reserves the right to refuse entry and/or cancel or revoke membership for any reason and at any time.
Cancellation
There are no long-term contracts with the Infinite List and members may cancel at any time. However, any current amounts paid are not refundable. Thus, if you are paying monthly and your payment is made on the 5th and you decide to cancel on the 6th, your membership will continue to the end of your current month. Similarly, if you are paying annually, your membership will continue until the end of your paid term.
TOKENS:
Any cancellation will result in the freezing of your ILM account Tokens. These Tokens will be available for future use should you decide to rejoin; however, they will remain unusable until then. Therefore, it is advisable to use your tokens prior to cancellation if you do not plan on reinstating your membership in the future.
ACCESS:
Upon cancellation (at the end of your paid term) you will be removed from our training portal, as well as from our private Facebook group. You may continue participation in our public group, the List-Builder's Lounge.
You will be removed from any giveaways for which you are enrolled as a contributor, and you will no longer be invited to our monthly calls of any type. You may continue to join our giveaways as a paid contributor should you wish to.
HOSTING:
In the rare event that you were to cancel your membership just prior to us hosting your giveaway, you may be billed for additional services should you wish for us to run the giveaway as scheduled.
If you are not willing to pay for the services, we may remove you from your own giveaway, retitle the giveaway, and continue to run it in service of the other members that have committed to it. If this were to occur, you would also forfeit any commissions of members AND non-members that you referred for that giveaway.
COMMISSIONS:
Your quarterly commissions are based upon your membership status at the end of the quarter in question. Members receive a 30% commission, while non-members receive only a 15% commission.
Thus, if your membership cancellation becomes effective on March 20th, your 1st quarter commissions (if any) will be paid out at 15%. If your cancellation becomes effective on April 3rd, you would be commissioned at 30% for the 1st quarter and 15% on any quarter thereafter.
Should you decide to reinstate your membership, your commissions will increase to the members rate based on referral revenues received AFTER your reinstatement date. For example, if your cancellation was effective on April 3rd, and you rejoin on June 27th - you will NOT be commissioned at 30% for any referral payments before June 27th. This rule is in place to prevent people from canceling and rejoining only to game our commission structure.
REINSTATEMENT:
Should you choose to cancel your membership, you may be subject to a reinstatement fee according to our current rules of engagement. We highly frown upon members opting in and out of the community. We look at it like this: You're Either In or You're Out. We treat all members like savvy entrepreneurs, and we expect them to act as such. Jumping in and out does not serve anyone and is detrimental to our community as a whole; therefore, if we see any member being flaky in this way, we may bar you from rejoining at our discretion.
However, we do understand that someone may go on hiatus for a while, or might perhaps be going through either financial hardship or health issues. For such members, we welcome you back at any time, though still subject to our rules of engagement. In many instances, you may be better off keeping your membership current even if you are not actively participating.
Regardless of your reason for cancellation, you will be giving up your current rate and will be subject to the going rate at the time of reinstatement. We anticipate that our pricing will eventually climb to $150/month with a $500 initiation fee. Please be sure to consider this before canceling your membership.
Affiliate Program
The Infinite List has one of the most generous Affiliate Programs available anywhere. Our goal is to make it so appealing that neither you, nor our members, will ever want to go anywhere else.
TWO TIERED STRUCTURE
Non-Members:
The basic commission offer for our referring partners is 15% lifetime. Thus, if someone joins and continues their membership at $100/month, you would receive $15 each month that they remain a paying member. This would result in $180 in commissions year after year for the lifetime of their membership.
Non-members do NOT get commissioned on the Onboarding Investment of new members - only on the monthly or annual membership dues.
Members:
To encourage membership, we offer double the commission amount, bringing it to 30% lifetime as long as you, yourself, are a paying member of The infinite List.
We also commission the Onboarding Investment at 30% if you are a current member. This would result in $75 ($250 x 30%) plus $30/month ongoing, bringing your first year commission to $435 and then $360 annually.
It's easy to see how you could pay for your own membership with just a few referrals and then start building an excellent revenue stream with continued referrals.
Example:
Let's say you run a giveaway and bring in 10 new members. Assuming you are a paid member yourself, you would earn a $750 commission for their onboarding, then $300 each month for as long as they remain a member.
Your first year would bring the following:
$750 + $3,600 ($300/month x 12) = $4,350 - $1,450 (your own membership) = $2,900. After that, you would continue to earn $2,400 each year ($3,600 in referrals - $1,200 in your own dues).
Now imaging you run a new giveaway each year and add 4 or more new members each time! You can see how the revenue stream will continue to grow.
PAYOUTS
Schedule:
Commissions will be calculated and paid out on a quarterly basis, 30-days after the completion of the quarter. Quarters are based on the calendar and not on your start date.
Example:
You begin your membership in January, and refer 10 people who start in February.
These 10 new members pay their onboarding investment ($250) in February and their first months dues in March ($100).
We close the quarter on March 31st and begin to calculate commissions payable to members. In your case, it would be $750 ($75 x 10) + $300 ($30 x 10) equaling $1,050. You could expect to receive your commission by the end of April or the first of May.
Commissions will be paid out as follows:
- 1st Quarter on May 1
- 2nd Quarter on August 1st
- 3rd Quarter on November 1st
- 4th Quarter on February 1st
Method of Payment:
In order for us to avoid a paperwork and tax nightmare, commissions will be paid out ONLY through PayPal. We have chosen this method because PayPal will track your earnings and we will not have to issue 1099's for every single affiliate partner.
Therefore, it is important that you keep us updated with your PayPal email address and any changes you make to that account. You can always reach us at [email protected] for support with your account. Please do not reach out simply to "check-in" on how many referrals you have and what your commission will be. Each quarter, you will receive a detailed report of your commissions earned and members referred.
Indemnification
The Infinite List is not responsible for your results aside from doing our part in conducting the associated giveaways. By their very nature (participants' list sizes, audience fit, and actions taken), giveaway results are highly unpredictable.
In addition, while the ILM Management Team has instituted practices to encourage healthy participation and to discourage freeloading, it may still occur from time to time.
The Infinite List will be held harmless from any and all claims, lawsuits, demands, causes of action, liability, loss, damage and/or injury, of any kind whatsoever (including without limitation all claims for monetary loss, property damage, equitable relief, personal injury and/or wrongful death), whether brought by an individual or other entity, or imposed by a court of law or by administrative action of any federal, state, or local governmental body or agency, arising out of, in any way whatsoever, any acts, omissions, negligence, or willful misconduct on the part of ILM, its members, owners, personnel, employees, agents, contractors, affiliate partners, invitees, or volunteers . This indemnification applies to and includes, without limitation, the payment of all penalties, fines, judgments, awards, decrees, attorneys' fees, and related costs or expenses, and any reimbursements to any party for all legal fees, expenses, and costs incurred by said party.
